Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G Summary :
Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G smartphone was launched on 24th April 2020. The phone comes with a 6.57-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G is powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 985 processor that features 1 cores clocked at 2.58GHz, 3 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and 4 cores clocked at 1.84GHz. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G runs Android 10 and is powered by a 4000mAh battery. The Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G supports proprietary fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G on the rear packs a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture; a third 8-megapixel camera with an f/3.4 aperture and a fourth 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera setup has phase detection autofocus. On the front, the Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G packs a 32-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a second 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G runs EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage. The Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G measures 160.36 x 73.74 x 7.98mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 178.00 grams. It was launched in Midnight Black, Silver, Forest Green, and Midsummer Purple and Honey Red colours.

Connectivity options on the Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/No, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, USB OTG, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Nova 7 SE replaces its predecessor's square rear camera with a narrow rectangular one. It packs 4 sensors into this feature: a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth-of-field sensor and another 2MP one for macros. The 7 and 7 Pro, on the other hand, have a similar set-up, although the depth-sensor is replaced with an 8MP telephoto lens.

The 7 Pro has the Honor 30 Pro's 6.57-inch display, however (complete with the same punch-hole selfie camera) whereas the 7 has the 30's smaller 6.53-inch screen. Both phones have the Kirin 985 SoC (no 990 here, as rumoured elsewhere), whereas the SE makes do with the 820. These specs make the entire series 5G, however.

All 3 new variants also have a 4000mAh battery with 40 watts (W) of Huawei fast charging. They also all have 8GB of RAM only, with 128GB or 256GB internal storage options. The Nova 7 series also has new colorways: "Magic Night" black; "Silver Moon Star", "Wonderland Forest" green, "Midsummer" purple or "Honey" red, the latter of which the SE misses out on. This is a shame, too, as it involves a matching paint job for the camera module.

Expected Price: Rs. 34,990
