In the context of the pandemic, hunger is mounting for some return to normalcy – and especially for the re-opening of some parts of the economy. How will that happen? This discussion will focus on how global health depends on both medical and economic security, and will reflect on ways in which society will transition to re-open the economy.
Principal Des Rosiers’s featured speaker is Dr. Anita McGahan, Professor at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy and a Professor of Strategic Management at the Rotman School of Management. They will be joined in conversation with Senior Fellow Dr. James Orbinski, Professor and the inaugural Director of York University’s Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research, and Junior Fellow Amanda Loder, PhD Candidate in Physical Geography and Environmental Studies at the University of Toronto.
The Dialogues are open to the public – we invite everyone to join and take part in what will be a very informative online discussion. Participants are invited to submit questions to the speakers in real time via the Chat function to the right of the screen as well as through Twitter with the hashtag #MasseyDialogues.
